Former Olympic skier Bode Miller arrested on drug charges in Idaho
Former United States Olympic skier Bode Miller has pleaded not guilty after being arrested on two drug-related charges in Idaho earlier this month.
The 48-year-old was detained on 6 June in Fremont County on counts of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
Court records indicate the former Alpine skiing champion was released after posting a $5,000 bail.
He was additionally required to pay a fine for a speeding violation connected to the incident.
Court proceedings scheduled
A further court appearance for the celebrated athlete is scheduled to take place on 29 July.
He has officially entered a plea of not guilty to both of the possession charges.
