Brighton reject £50m Liverpool transfer bid for winger Yankuba Minteh

Brighton have rejected a £50m transfer bid from Liverpool for Yankuba Minteh as the Merseyside club seek a summer replacement for the departed Mohamed Salah.

The Reds are actively exploring the market to bolster their attacking options following the monumental exit of their talismanic forward.

According to reports from The Athletic, the South Coast club immediately turned down the initial approach for their highly-rated attacker.

However, the player himself is understood to be keen on a switch to Anfield if a fee can ultimately be agreed between the two Premier League sides.
