England striker Ivan Toney charged with assault after London nightclub incident

England international Ivan Toney has been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm following an alleged incident at a central London nightclub.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed the forward was formally charged on Thursday, 31 July.

He is scheduled to appear before Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 24 September.

The allegations relate to an altercation that reportedly took place at a venue on Wardour Street, Soho, in December 2025.

The prolific attacker recently represented the Three Lions on the global stage.

He featured heavily during the latest tournament cycle, including an appearance in the World Cup bronze medal match against France in Miami Gardens.
