Liverpool have identified Paris St-Germain winger Bradley Barcola as a primary transfer target as they seek to reinforce their attacking options this summer.

The Merseyside club are reportedly exploring a lucrative deal for the 21-year-old following the departure of talisman Mohamed Salah.

Manager Andoni Iraola is expected to receive significant financial backing to reshape the squad ahead of his debut campaign.

Despite spending heavily last year, the Anfield hierarchy are taking a measured approach to their ongoing recruitment.

They recently secured the services of Spanish prospect Victor Munoz to provide much-needed depth on the right flank.

Paris St-Germain exit on the cards

The French international could be permitted to leave the Parc des Princes if a suitable financial package is presented.

He is currently preparing to return from international duty after featuring in his country’s World Cup semi-final defeat to Spain.

According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, the lightning-fast attacker remains prominent on the Reds’ transfer shortlist.

“Bradley Barcola can leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer.”

Fabrizio Romano stated during his latest broadcast.

“This depends on the amount of money the clubs will put on the table, but for sure, the interest is strong.”

Premier League rivals Arsenal are also monitoring the former Lyon academy graduate, though Morgan Rogers remains their preferred option.

Blocked path in the French capital

The highly-rated forward built a strong reputation as a direct and industrious presence under the guidance of Luis Enrique and Didier Deschamps.

However, his preferred position on the left side of the attack is currently occupied by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

This intense positional competition has severely restricted the youngster’s regular game time in his natural role.

Despite early critics doubting his readiness for elite European football, his domestic manager praised his exceptional attitude last season.

“We are lucky that he is a very balanced person, very sensible, humble, hard-working, with great family values.”

Luis Enrique remarked to the press.

With no ongoing negotiations regarding a contract extension in France, a move to England could offer the winger a crucial fresh start.
