Tottenham advance talks to sign Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi
Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi has informed Tottenham Hotspur he wants to join the club following positive transfer discussions.
The 20-year-old recently held talks with the north London side alongside his agent, Moussa Sissoko.
Those negotiations were reportedly highly successful, with the French forward expressing a strong desire to make the move.
Spurs prepare massive bid
Tottenham are now reportedly lining up an £85m offer to test Bournemouth’s resolve.
The Cherries are reluctant to sell their exciting attacker as they prepare for their first-ever European campaign.
However, the player’s representative has acknowledged that all options remain on the table ahead of the new season.
“We are still discussing his future. We’ll see what happens in the coming days; at the moment, there is no final decision.”
If a fee can be agreed for the south coast star, he will compete directly with Dominic Solanke for a starting spot in attack.
